The Music at St. Paul

is liturgically based and consists of traditional hymns.  Worship through song is an important part of our service and we sing from 3 to 5 hymns during worship.

Music in Lutheran liturgy serves the multi-faceted role of proclaiming the Christian Faith, educating about the scriptures and giving thanks to God for Salvation that is freely given to all.

Our accompanyment is via organ or piano with vocals from our Choir or soloist.

Our Choir is directed by Ted Stoddard, our Director of Music, and rehersals are held Thursday evenings at 7 pm and are open to all.

“next to the Word of God,

the noble art of music

is the greatest treasure in the world.”

-- Martin Luther
