St. Paul offers Sunday School classes, and a confirmation/youth group. The Sunday School classes range in age from pre-k to sixth grade. Those classes meet at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, except when there’s a three-day week-end, or a school vacation. When a confirmation group is in process, we often meet at another time. We offer family workshops at the beginning of each liturgical season. At times during the liturgical year, the children learn music and songs together to share during worship.
We use the Spark lectionary-based curriculum, published by Augsburg-Fortress Press. Children are encouraged as well to attend worship during the 10:00 a.m. service. The Sunday School directors and teachers are volunteers from our congregation. Eva DiLascio teaches the music portion of our mornings. Sunday school meets from the third Sunday in September to May, usually ending on the Sunday before Memorial Day each year.
Rally Day, our name for the beginning of the Sunday School year, is held on the third Sunday in September. This year: on September 24th, 2017.
If you are interested in hearing more about our Sunday School, please call the church office, and ask for Pastor Anne. 978-283-6550.
